- Currently partner with RESA to support singleton science teachers
- Led over 55 Professional Development Sessions for more than 350 Primary & Secondary Science teachers
- Led Science Professional Development for SW RESA & Chattahoochee-Flint RESA
- Co-Led AP Science Improvement Initiative
- Served as a two-year external provider for GaDOE to prepare 2nd & 3rd-year failing science students on state assessment
- 96% of teachers stated the PD was extremely useful and highly effective
- 25 years serving as Lead Science Teacher, Instructional Coach, School Improvement Specialist, Turnaround Liaison & District Effectiveness Team
RESULTS
- Professional Development and Coaching led to increase in EOC & EOG scores
- 8th grade team increased student scores in Developing & above by 52%
- 7% increase in 5th-grade Distinguished learners
- 32% increase on AP Science assessments
- While serving as GaDOE external provider, 2nd & 3rd-year failing students received 84% and 93% pass rates on state assessment
- Served students in districts with low socioeconomic demographic status. Students consistently met or exceeded the state average on Biology assessments
